Zrádci 1. řada is first season of Zrádci. It is broadcast on the Czech TV network Prima Sundays at 8:15pm, starting from September 22, 2024, and has also been licensed for airing by the Slovak TV network JOJ.
Background[]
A Czech version of The Traitors was first confirmed to be under pre-production for Prima on December 30, 2023.[1] On July 12, 2024, more details about the program were announced: the first season had already been recorded at Křivoklát Castle, was hosted by actor Vojtěch Kotek, and would likely air in early September.[2] Prima then later revealed that Zrádci will premiere on September 22.[3] However, the premiere was also uploaded a week earlier on 15 September, 2024, onto Prima's streaming platform Prima+.
Aftershows[]
A special web-exclusive episode, Cesta do finále (or The Road to the Final in English), was uploaded on December 1, 2024 to Prima+, allowing the terrestrial TV broadcast to catch up before the finale since it was a week behind. It mostly recapped the previous episodes, although some exclusive bonus and behind-the-scenes footage was also included.
Additionally, host Vojtěch Kotek co-presented a podcast with series director Markus Krug on his YouTube channel, featuring episode recaps and interviews with both contestants and other production crew.[4]
Unique Characteristics & Twists[]
- Starting Elimination: At the start of the game, the contestants were each asked to choose someone deemed as the most trustworthy. That person then selected 3 people she trusted the least. Vojtěch then gave her 1 minute to further select someone among the 3 to immediately Banish, or she would in turn be Banished herself.
- Banishment or Murder: At a dinner party in Episode 10, Vojtěch announced to the remaining contestants that there would be either a Banishment or Murder that night (but not both). For a Banishment to take place, the group had to unanimously agree on it; additionally, the prize pot would either be increased by 100,000 Kč (if a Traitor was Banished that night), or decreased by 100,000 Kč (if a Faithful was Banished instead).
- Non Reveal: In the finale the banished players did not reveal their role.

- ↑ Katka was asked to nominate the three contestants she thought were the least trustworthy, based on first impressions. She then had one minute to decide which of them to Banish, or she herself would be Banished instead.
- ↑ Andrea and Sarah were tied for the most plurality of votes. They were ineligible to vote again in the tiebreaker, while the other contestants voted to Banish one of them.
- ↑ At the dinner party, Vojtěch asked the group to choose between Murder or Banish. If anyone chose Murder, there would be no Banishment, and the Traitors would Murder one of the Faithfuls. If the group chose Banishment unanimously, they would proceed to the Roundtable for a vote. If the group managed to Banish a Traitor, they would earn 100,000 Kč, but if they Banished a Faithful instead, 100,000 Kč would be lost from the prize pot.
- ↑ Honza and Nicole were tied for the most plurality of votes. They were ineligible to vote again in the tiebreaker, while the other contestants voted to Banish one of them.
- ↑ Petr injured himself during this episode's Mission and was sent to the hospital for a checkup; his injury was substantial enough that he decided to withdraw from the game.
- ↑ Katka was nominated by group consensus as the most trustworthy contestant, thus giving her the responsibility of nominating and eliminating a fellow contestant on the spot.
