Tom was a very likeable presence around the cast, while his reads were not always right he showed too understand the game pretty well and made many vital connections. While he was generally trusted around the house this lead the traitors to put him on death row two separate times.
He was saved the first time but the second he wasn't as lucky and with Viggo securing his safety Tom was the only option left to take out.
