The Traitors Canada Season 3 is the third season of The Traitors Canada. It is broadcast on CTV every Tuesday at 9:00pm Canadian Eastern Time, beginning October 21, 2025, with a two-episode finale broadcast on December 16, 2025.
Background[]
On March 5, 2025, CTV announced the renewal of both the English and Québécois franchises or Season 3, announcing that applications were open to the Canadian public for the first time. (While civilians also participated in the first two seasons, they were either directly recruited or previously considered for other reality series.)[1]
In July 2025, a rumored cast list surfaced online. Among the speculated names were Survivor contestants Venus Vafa and Omar Zaheer, Big Brother Canada's Kevin Jacobs and Ty McDonald, Dom Gabriel (The Mole and Perfect Match), choreographer Hollywood Jade (Canada’s Drag Race), and influencer Sarah Nicole Landry.[2]
On September 8, 2025, it was announced via the show’s social media platforms that the third season would premiere on October 21. [3] Subsequently, the cast was announced a few days later, confirming the seven rumoured reality TV veterans alongside the rest of the cast.[4]

Unique Characteristics & Twists[]
- Celebrities vs. Civilians: Similarly to Season 1 and Season 2, this season adopted a cast of 10 celebrities and reality TV veterans, competing against 12 civilians who were mostly newcomers to reality TV.
- Secret Pre-existing Relationship: Married couple Cagla and Meredith Baktiroglu were cast on the show together, competing as individual contestants. This pre-existing relationship was not initially revealed to the other contestants.
- Traitor Banishment Bonus: Each time a Traitor was Banished, C$10,000 would be added to the prize pot.
- Alternate Traitor Selection: The Traitors were picked not by being tapped at the Roundtable, but instead by those who were not tapped. Karine did not tell them this until after their blindfolds were taken off.
- Alternate First Traitors' Meeting: Before their first conclave, the Traitors had to identify each other through a matching set of pendants given to them. If this task was not accomplished by midnight, the night's conclave would be cancelled, delaying their first official meeting and Murder.
- Early Recruitment/Face-to-Face Murder: The Traitors were allowed to select two Faithfuls they wished to Recruit, before any Traitors were Banished. However, they were only informed later at the Cloak Ceremony that just one of the Faithfuls would become a Traitor, while the other would be Murdered (this specific twist was in fact hinted at by Karine the previous night). They then had to decide who to Recruit and Murder directly.
- Modified Deathrow: In Episode 3, the Traitors put four contestants of their choice on Deathrow. However, the choice on who to Murder was left to the Faithfuls instead, who could save three out of the four on Deathrow through the Mission and grant them Shields, while the remaining contestant would leave the game (even if they were a Traitor).
- Midnight Ceremony: At the end of Episode 4, at the strike of midnight, all players, including the Traitors, were blindfolded and brought outside the manor by its staff members. The Traitors secretly had their blindfolds removed and donned their cloaks as they then silently decided on one of the Faithfuls to give a chance to be Recruited. All unchosen Faithfuls would be guided back to the manor (while still blindfolded) as the chosen Faithful (also while still blindfolded) would then be allowed to plead their case to the Traitors as to why they should Recruit them. The Traitors would then decide whether to Recruit or Murder their chosen Faithful directly.
- Midnight Shield: During the mission of Episode 7, there were 3 shields for guests to find, unbeknownst to them until after the roundtable, the shield finder must give their shield to someone else. When clock stroke midnight, whoever was holding the shield were the ones safe from the murder.
- Murder in Plain Sight: At the end of Episode 7, there was no Traitors' Conclave. Instead, the Traitors had to select someone to Murder post-Banishment, by retrieving a Cursed Shield hidden behind a skull painting and passing it to a Faithful before midnight.
- Dagger or Shield: The winner of Episode 9's Mission could choose between either a Dagger (giving them a double vote at the next Banishment) or a Shield (granting them immunity from the final Murder). However this time, they must give the one they didn't choose to one of three contestants they invited to have a one-on-one meeting with.
- No Finale Role Reveals: Like the previous Canadian Seasons, any contestant Banished in the finale before the game ended was not allowed to reveal whether they were a Faithful or Traitor.
