The Traitors Season 3 is the third season of The Traitors (US). It premiered with a three-episode drop on January 9, 2025 at 9:00pm EST, with each subsequent episode dropping every Friday at 9:00pm EST as well.
Background[]
On January 19, 2024, after the successful launch of Season 2, it was revealed that the show had been renewed for a third season.[1] The show will continue filming at Ardross Castle with an all-celebrity cast, and a targeted launch date of January 2025.
After months of speculation and the names of various reality stalwarts thrown around, the finalized cast was flown to the UK in June 2024 where host Alan Cumming teasing outside the Ardross Castle on his Instagram[2]. Alan then released the full cast list, including many speculated names (and surprises such as Zac Efron's brother Dylan Efron and British aristocrat Lord Ivar Mountbatten) on June 5, 2024.[3]

The Traitors: Postmortem was discontinued. Taking its place was The Traitors US: Revealed, uploaded onto Peacock's YouTube channel. The eliminated contestants for the episode reflected on their in-game journey, found out who the Traitors were (if they were Faithfuls), and got to meet face-to-face for a final chat.

Unique Characteristics & Twists[]
- Exile: In Episode 1, the other contestants were given a choice to let Rob Mariano enter the game if they shook Alan Cumming's hand and elected to exile another contestant in Rob's place. Otherwise, he was exiled and - unknown to the other contestants - made a Traitor.
- Early-Game Intruder: In Episode 2's Mission, Derrick Levasseur and Wes Bergmann were introduced as surprise new contestants along with the exiled player.
- Murder in Plain Sight: At the end of Episode 4, there was no Traitor's conclave. Instead, the Traitors had to write three names on a piece of paper and place it in a miniature coffin that is located in a secret room, then return later to hammer the nail in someone's coffin in order to Murder them.
- Face-to-Face Murder: At the end of Episode 7, contestants were told that someone without a shield would be Murdered face to face by the Traitors. They had to go to the chapel one by one, and make a plea to the Traitor; those who were not Murdered were greeted by Alan, who told them that they were safe, while the Murder victim was greeted and Murdered in person by the Traitors.
- Traitors' Ultimatum: At the end of Episode 9, there was only one Traitor left. They had the option of offering an Ultimatum to a Faithful of their choice, who would either be obliged to accept Recruitment or be Murdered otherwise.
- The Seer: In Episode 10, the contestant who banked the biggest prize fund in that episode's Mission would win the Seer power, allowing them to reveal the role of any contestant they chose at a one-on-one meeting after the Roundtable.
- No Finale Role Reveals: Any contestant Banished in the finale before the game ended was not allowed to reveal whether they were a Faithful or Traitor.

- ↑ After previously being denied entry into the game by the group, Rob entered in Episode 2's Mission as an Intruder. He was safe from Banishment and Murder, but unable to vote as well. Because of his late entry, he only joined the other Traitors at the second conclave.
