Sandra found herself in a great position, as she formed social relationships with many people in the castle and even made amends with her Survivor castmate and nemesis Parvati Shallow, with whom she had a feud outside the game. She also played the game with tactical strategy, as she realized that working with suspected Traitors, who she called "traitor angels", while banishing Faithfuls she was not aligned with would ensure her long-term survival. When Kate Chastain led a crusade to paint Sandra as a Traitor to unsuccessfully save Phaedra Parks and eventually to take out a threat, this became successful as Sandra became the final Faithful banished at the round table during the final five.
Another Survivor winner and legend of the game, Twine won Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. She's also competed in four other Survivor seasons which means she's never really left that mindset. Clearly a major plus in her favor since she's got Parvati Shallow to deal with this season, and plenty of contestants gunning for her since she's so good at what she does - winning.[1]
Both Sandra and Parvati later competed again for their fourth time (second time against each other) in Survivor: Winners at War, the show's 40th season.
