Sam Smith is a Faithful and the Winner of The Traitors NZ/Season 1, along with Anna Reeve.
Initially wanting to take NZ$10,000 off the bat and leave the game, Sam decided not to and experienced the Traitors to the full extent. After being picked as a Faithful, Sam used his disability as a multiple sclerosis diagnosis along with his cheerful and friendly personality that blend in very well with sociallly close knit players. His ability to succeed in many Missions despite having partially blind, along with being loyal and true to the words on the Faithfuls, making Sam an absolute adore by the casts and not suspected him the entire game, and only receiving one vote as a joke from his close friend and Traitor Brooke Howard-Smith.
Hidden behind the personality was Sam under-the-radar gameplay that allowed him to detect where the majority consensus goes or which evidence was more incriminated, allowing Sam to join the majority the whole time in the game. And while he initially wavered into suspecting his close friend Anna Reeve for having a perfect cover of the Traitor, he nevertheless trusted her the most in the Fire of Truth, where he realised between Anna and Brooke, that Brooke had not been put to the test as he was chaotic and loud yet had never been brought up compared to Anna, and he decided to Banished Brooke off, winning the total of NZ$59,100 as Sam successfully Banished the Traitor and Anna and himself are both Faithfuls in the end.
