Sam Johnson, also known by his online alias Fury, is a contestant from The Traitors NZ/Season 1.
Known as Fury in the game to differentiate between himself and Sam Smith, Fury wanted to play under-the-radar gameplay and be a team player. When Paul Henry announced the group to form a line, starting from who is most likely to make it to the end to who is least likely to make it to the end, Fury decided to place himself in the group that is most likely to get to the end. Then Paul announced that there was silver bars on top of a plinth and that if anyone raced to it first, they would immediately leave the game with NZ$10,000 from the prize pool. After no one from the least likely group ran for it, Paul gave the same opportunity to the most likely group, and after considering the options, Fury went ahead and took the money, making him the first non-winner to leave the game with some of the prize funds.
