Television, film, and theater actor; director and screenwriter. In television, he started with episodic roles in series like Médico de familia or Periodistas, until he got the opportunity to play the role that catapulted him to fame in the youth series Al salir de clase. Later, he left television to focus on cinema. Throughout his career, he has worked under directors like Pedro Almodóvar in Broken Embraces, Steven Soderbergh in Che, or Alejandro González Iñárritu in Biutiful. He was nominated for the Goya Award for his role in Broken Silence, directed by Montxo Armendariz. In theater, he directed and starred in Antigone. In 2016, he filmed The Infiltrator in Hollywood. For the past year, he has been a member of the Hollywood Academy. In January, he will release his new film, Lobo feroz, alongside Adriana Ugarte and Javier Gutiérrez.[1]
