Petolliset Kausi 2 is the second season of Petolliset. It is broadcast on Nelonen every Thursday at 8:00pm, starting from August 29, 2024.
Background[]
On May 20, 2024, Nelonen announced a new season of Petolliset on their autumn 2024 TV schedule.[1] Nelonen then officially released the cast and launch date on August, 2024.[2]
Due to the passing of Janne Puhakka, the airing of the season finale - where he was still in contention to win - was delayed until further notice from the originally scheduled airdate of October 17, 2024.[3] It was later confirmed that the finale would air on November 10, 2024 at Janne's family's request, with a commemoration of Janne to be added at both the start and end of the episode.[4]

The official aftershow took the form of the Petolliset Podcast hosted by Christoffer Strandberg as well, uploaded weekly after each episode onto Sanoma's podcast platform Supla and featuring the recently Banished and Murdered contestants.[5]
Additionally, new to this season was Petollisten paljastus (or The Revelation of Traitors in English), short web exclusives where the most recently Murdered or Banished Faithfuls would discover the Traitors' identities and react to it. A paid Ruutu+ account was required to access these.[6]

Unique Characteristics & Twists[]
- Early Recruitment: The Traitors were allowed to Recruit a Faithful while committing their first Murder, before any Traitors were Banished.
- Murder in Plain Sight: At the end of Episode 6, there was no Traitors' Conclave. Instead, the Traitors had to select someone to Murder at a dinner party, by toasting a player to their death.

- ↑ Janne was Blackmailed by the Traitors at the start of Episode 2, but only formally joined them at the subsequent conclave at the end of Episode 2.
- ↑ Instead of a Traitors' conclave, the Murder took place in plain sight, with the Traitors Murdering a Faithful by toasting them.
