Paul de Gelder is a Faithful from The Traitors (Australia)/Season 2.
Paul came into the game as a player who could not be convinced or manipulated, due to his background as a former soldier and a shark attack survivor. This ultimately caused him to act separately from the group's plan to vote for someone else at Banishment, such as when he voted Faithful Keith Banks instead of the Traitors' intended target, fellow Traitor Ash Pollard. His own methods and mission to spot a Traitor, along with the high chance he would not be Banished because of the minimal suspicions towards him, led to him being the Traitors' fourth Murder.

Former elite soldier, shark attack survivor, even a part time rapper, Paul has led an inspiring life and lived to tell the tale.
As someone who is used to being pushed to his limits, Paul survived a bull shark attack in Sydney Harbour in 2009 while he was doing a counter terrorism exercise which he says, “Was a pretty bad way to start the day.” The shark removed his entire right hand and the hamstring of his right leg.
He says, “Fortunately for me, I don’t have flashbacks or nightmares or hold onto things like that. I’ve been through enough in my life to realise that was just another chapter and life goes on. I also have that dark military humour and Aussie humour so I take the positive and found it catapulted me into knowing more about myself.”
Since then, he has become an author, TV host and motivational speaker. But in this game, he knows not to stand too tall from the pack saying, “I can be that grey man. I don’t need to be the leader, I can be the follower. I can fit into any scenario and sometimes you just have to shut off your emotions and I’m very good at that.”[1]
