Nasledniki i Samozvantsy Sezon 1 (Russian: Наследники и самозванцы 1 сезон) is the first season of Nasledniki i Samozvantsy. It was regularly broadcast every Saturday on TV-3 at varying times, starting from November 12, 2022 except for the last two episodes, which were broadcast on the same day - New Year's Eve. This was the first unlicensed version of the show to air.
Background[]
TV-3 announced the series on July 26, 2022 as a replacement to Posledniy Geroy (Last Hero in English, the Russian edition of Survivor), helmed by veteran network talent and host Lyasan Utiasheva.[1] Filming started around early to mid-September 2022 at the Hotel Olgino,[2]. A teaser trailer was released on October 12, 2022[3], and the first contestants announced on October 17, 2022.[4] The launch date was confirmed on November 1, 2022, alongside the release of a full trailer promising intense challenges and strategic gameplay.[5]
Main host for the Dutch franchise Tijl Beckand confirmed that this edition of the show was unlicensed. Program Director of RTL Nederland Peter van der Vorst had remarked that nothing could be done about this as "Russia was a rogue state".[6]

- With eight contestants total having been selected or Recruited as Traitors, this season (albeit unlicensed) contains the most number of Traitors within a season.
- This is also the first season where Traitors were reverted back into Faithfuls, although this was a production decision due to the game's integrity being ruined, rather than a pre-planned game mechanism.
