Millie Slennett is a contestant from The Traitors (Australia)/Season 1.
Millie entered the game intending to be cautious and strategic. However, this led to her not being able to quickly develop strong social relationships, leading the Traitors to believe she was an easy target to Murder and sow confusion.

As a veterinary nurse, Millie is used to being presented with a problem with no clear solution and learning how to troubleshoot on the spot. Reading non-verbal cues is a big part of her role and she says: “It’s life or death for a lot of our patients and you have to be extremely calm under pressure. You need to be versatile and read a room”.
She’s also a professional dancer and choreographer and feels her combined skills will help her uncover The Traitors in the game. She says: “I walk into a class and you gauge within the first few minutes where people are at and you need to break down walls quickly. Then you accumulate that information and make it work”.
Millie says people often mistake her for being light and bubbly and she wants to prove there’s more to her. The cash prize of $250,000 is also a big motivator as she would use it towards her wedding at the end of the year.
While she has a natural trusting nature, Millie sees herself playing a great game as a Traitor. She says: “It’s very deceptive for people to fall into a hole of she’s the nice one, friendly and their best friend. Then we crank it up and flip it. People won’t see it coming”.[1]
Gameplay[]
When she entered the game, Millie's goal was to play cautiously and not give away too much. This led to her being guarded on the first day, observing others and refusing to divulge her suspicions or observations while conversing with them. This behaviour was noted by many of the other contestants, who were freely exchanging information and forming alliances.
When the Traitors convened later that night, they were wary of an inability to interpret her intentions, while reasoning that she managed to form fewer connections compared to the other contestants. While there was some debate over whether to eliminate a huge threat right away, the group agreed that Murdering Millie would cause fewer waves and potentially sow confusion over their motives, thus leading to her demise.
