The reality show Forræder is a new concept coming to the TV screen this fall. Leading the show is VGTV profile and host, Mads Hansen (38). It was recently revealed that Hansen is stepping down as the host of Farmen after two seasons because he received an offer to lead Forræder – a choice he had to make.
"I find it flattering that I get to lead TV 2's new major project. It's very exciting, and there's always excitement with something new. I'm really looking forward to it," says Hansen to TV2.no.
Forræder is a psychological game designed to appeal to the whole family, and for Hansen, it couldn't be more fitting. "I probably got the offer because I've been involved in a lot of 'pranking' and joking, so my name is associated with that theme. It's truly a dream job to be able to lead this major project."
The concept of Forræder stands out significantly from other reality shows in Norway. The program features 20 well-known Norwegians who will live together and participate in a "game." The one rule that applies is: Don't trust anyone.
"For those who have played the game Among Us, this program can be reminiscent of it. I'm a bit ahead of my time here, as on my 35th birthday, I had a team competition, and I pointed out a traitor on each team. That was three years ago, so this program really speaks to me," explains the 38-year-old.[1]
