MK Kuzilny

Michael "MK" Kuzilny is a contestant from The Traitors (Australia)/Season 1.

As a criminal defence lawyer and former police officer, MK entered the game planning to lead the Faithful, as he felt he had the skill to detect liars and help catch the Traitors. However, his constant affirmations that he was a Faithful, alongside his abrasive and overbearing personality, meant he was soon Banished in a landslide vote at the Round Table.

A former police officer and now a criminal lawyer, MK says he knows when someone is guilty or not and can read people within 30 seconds.

He says: “I have been dealing with liars all my life. Criminal law can be a game of deception but you can’t be too soft. You need the heart of a lion, not the heart of a sheep. I’ve got the heart of a lion and in this game, I am there to find the sheep”.

MK says he can make friends with everyone as he works with different people every day from bikies to bankers and believes finding a Traitor will be easy, saying: “I was a cop in some of the toughest districts in Australia for about 10 years, this is going to be chicken feed to some of the things I’ve seen”.

He also has a passion for standing up for people who have made mistakes and won’t back down from a fight. MK says: “I help people who break away from the crowds, I help people who make mistakes. I came to Australia when I was 15 and couldn’t speak a word of English and people don’t like it when you’re a little bit different. I am a one man show, I don’t need the opinion of other people”.^[1]
