Why did you apply to be on The Traitors?
My main driving force is that I am completely obsessed with murder mysteries. If there's a murder mystery on the go, I'm there. I've watched every episode of Poirot, every Agatha Christie more than once, Midsomer Murders, Inspector Morse, Grantchester, Father Brown, Sister Boniface. I’m just obsessed with murders and the mental aspect of trying to work out who did it.

What do you think you'll bring to the game?
I like to think that I can think a little bit laterally and I like to think that I'm a pretty good judge of character. Although this is an artificial scenario, because people are bringing to the game, and this includes me, not necessarily who they are as a real person. In standard life I'm sure people are not that treacherous; I'd like to think. I think I'm quite calm. I'm quite a realist. And so, I'd like to bring some sort of calm to situations if they get a bit overwrought. And be there for people as well. Listen to them, but also be looking at people from outside the box. I'm quite an observer.

What did you think of the previous series?
I've really enjoyed both of them. I thought Harry played a blinding game and he was just so natural. I was watching it again, recently, as a bit of research. And I felt really strongly for him when he got rid of Jonny, who was his friend, Army buddy, that must have been really hard. But the series was really good. It's really easy being an armchair critic. When you're not in that situation, it's really easy to go, oh, it's so obvious that it's them. I thought Jaz was incredible. He kind of sat back, let everything come to him, took in everything, was very careful about what he said and to whom. Although there was at one point where he spoke to Harry about the Traitors and he said about Paul, and then obviously Harry went back and told them all.

Was there anyone’s game plan you admired?
Definitely Jaz. I can't say I think he should have won because Harry was outstanding at what he did as well. I think there, you've got the epitome of the two characters, you've got a Traitor who played it brilliantly. And you've got a Faithful who equally played a masterful game, and he was just unlucky. And then poor Mollie stuck in between the two of them.

Do you have a game plan?
I'd like to be a bit like Jaz. You know, say things but not too much, which is going to be difficult for me, because I can talk quite a bit. So, be the person who's there but doesn't get noticed much. Because you can get noticed by being too quiet and you can get noticed by being too loud. I think I’ll try and be even, what I've noticed is that people tend to really hone onto subtle changes in people's energy levels or their moods. So just try and keep everything on an even keel. It's going to be really hard. I have no illusions. And I think going in if I say I'm a priest, I think I'm going to have a target on my back straight away.

When you're playing games with friends and family are you very competitive?
Oh, I’m so competitive. So competitive, people have said to me, and this is something that I've had to reflect on quite a lot, about going on a programme like The Traitors where deception and lying is part of the game and how does that sit with being a priest? It doesn't exactly speak of the values that we uphold as a priest. But this is a game. And just the same as if I'm sitting around the kitchen table with my family, if you're playing the game, you play the game, whatever that entails. I think that going into this game, the other thing is the people who are also there, the other cast members, we have all been through the same process. And on numerous occasions, we have been made very aware of what the rules are, what the game is that we're letting ourselves in for. So, you're not doing it to unsuspecting people. You know that when they go in there, they know what the role is, and they know what the game is. What confuses it, of course, is because there's a money pot at the end of it. But genuinely, that doesn't bother me. I'm not in it for the money. And that's genuine. If I won the money, I wouldn't keep it.

Do you think you’ll be good at the Missions? What strengths do you think you might bring to them?
I like doing puzzles, so the puzzle ones I will very much enjoy. The physical ones, I'm quite strong for a woman of my age, because I've got horses. So, I do a lot of mucking out, a lot of wheeling poo around fields and handling 500 kilo animals at a time who can be quite strong. I have quite a lot of upper body strength.

If you are a Traitor, how do you think you'll feel?
I would be a little bit anxious. Not because I think I can't lie or be deceitful because I think we can all do that. I'm not sure how long I could maintain the facade. That would be the issue for me. It would be like I don't know if I could carry this off for very long.

Would you say you’ve got a good poker face?
Short term? Yes. About the length of the poker game, probably.

If you are a Traitor, how far are you prepared to go to win the game?
I'm quite measured. I'm quite happy to - I hate this expression - throw people under the bus. But if it's a game, and you're playing to win, if someone is in competition with you, then you have to do whatever it takes to neutralise the competition.

If you're a Faithful, what do you think your game plan would be?
I’d be the grey man, watching, listening, I've got quite a good memory. So, trying to remember what people have done and what they've said. I'm quite good at picking up on people who overact. I've noticed in previous series, like Will, and also, Paul, that, as they were Traitors, they had a tendency to ham it up a bit more, over-act slightly. And I'm quite good at picking up people who are drama queens.

How good are you at spotting a liar?
Good as I have a really good memory, People's memories are just not that good. So, it's all in the small details and catching people out.

If you are a Faithful, what qualities do you think you're going to need to make it through to the final?
Be friendly, try not to rub people up the wrong way. But then having said that, there's been other people that have been equally lovely, and they've been given the boot. I think being a Faithful, a lot of it is not in your own hands, you could be murdered. I’d try to go a bit undetected, a little bit under the radar. I think that’s what happened with Mollie and Evie. Mollie was lucky she was really good friends with Harry. I think he protected her a little bit. Evie as well - she was there, but she wasn't there, she took part, she was good fun and she kind of blended in really and didn't stand out either being too quiet or too loud. So, I think that would be how I try and play it. Just go a bit unnoticed.

If you win the prize money, what do you think you'll spend it on?
It depends on how much you win, obviously. I've got three sons so I'd probably help them out a little bit. I have a friend who runs an animal charity in Ireland who I’d also like to help. My own parish church, we have an old vestry, that we want to convert into a community place so that we can have lunches for people who have been widowed, who are bereaved and want to come together. I'd like to open a Lego club for kids to come and be able to be creative. I am very fortunate in my life that I have a job, and I have a husband who has a good job and so I'm very blessed. It's not about the money for me genuinely. Well, okay, that's a lie. It would be lovely to win the money because I know that I could do some really positive things with it. But if I don't win the money, I'm not going to be heartbroken.[1]
