Júlio has been married for ten years and has a one-year-old son, Martim. His other great passion is competition. Whether it's handball, jiu-jitsu, chess, what matters is winning, and he hates losing, but he says that rarely happens to him. Júlio offered to share some of his winnings with Álvaro Marinho and Carla Pereira, as their business was experiencing some financial difficulties. However, they declined as he had a young child to take care of.
