Forræder Sesong 3 is the third season of Forræder (Norway), premiering on September 8, 2023 and airing at 8:00pm every Friday.
Background[]
On May 11, 2023, with the previous season still airing, TV 2 announced that the third season for Forræder (Norway) was already secretly filmed, and would air in the autumn of 2023. TV 2 also revealed that the filming location had reverted to Midtåsen from Season 1, as well as the first contestant: Eva B. Ragde, the sister of Season 1 contestant Anne.[1] Shortly after Season 2's conclusion, TV 2 revealed a first look at the full cast on June 12, 2023, while confirming that the upcoming season would be available on the terrestrial TV 2 service once again.[2] Dagbladet also revealed that the season had been recorded in April 2023.[3]

Unique Characteristics & Twists[]
- Dinner Party Immunity: Unlike in other versions of the show where contestants voted on who they felt were the least trustworthy without further direct ramifications, the contestants who received the most votes here received immunity from the next Murder.
- The Bribe: During Episode 11, each contestant took turns to choose someone else in the game they trusted the most. This chain continued until only one contestant was left; they were then offered to either take the NKr12,000 lost from that episode's Mission for themselves, or contribute it to the group's prize pot instead.
- Murder in Plain Sight: At the end of Episode 12, there was no Traitors' Conclave. Instead, the Traitors had to select someone they would choose to Murder at a cocktail party, by handing them a drink spiked with 'poison'.
- Role Reveal Power: After the final Mission, the contestants took turns to bid any amount they wished from the prize fund won during that Mission. The contestant that bid the highest amount won a power (while essentially forfeiting the amount they bid from the prize fund), allowing them to reveal the role of any contestant they chose at a one-on-one meeting later.
