Forræder Sesong 2 is the second season of Forræder (Norway). Unlike its predecessor, it was released as a streaming-exclusive season on TV 2's online subscription platform TV 2 Play every Friday at 3:00am, beginning from April 28, 2023.
Background[]
Aftershows[]
TV 2 personalities and contestants Robin Hofset and Victor Sotberg hosted an aftershow titled Victor og Rob ser Forræder (or Victor and Rob Watch Forræder in English), where they reacted to and commented on the latest episodes with a fellow contestant. This was available on TV 2 Play, and then subsequently on YouTube.

Unique Characteristics & Twists[]
- Early Recruitment: Due to the lower starting number of Traitors, they were allowed to Recruit a Faithful from the start of the game onwards, before any Traitors were Banished.
- Dagger Dinner: Instead of being located in the Armoury like in other versions, the Dagger was obtained through the Dagger Dinner instead. The contestants with Armoury access nominated two others they wished to see win the Dagger. The pair would then choose a box each and play a minigame: one person was allowed to look inside their box and describe its contents (and possibly lie about it), while the other decided if they wished to switch boxes. One of the boxes contained the Dagger; unlike in other versions, it was automatically played at the next Banishment.
- Role Reveal Power: During the final Mission, the contestants competed to manoeuvre a golden ball through a hole in a game board and into a red container. They had earlier drawn lots to determine a playing order, and the first contestant to successfully manoeuvre the ball during their turn won a power, allowing them to reveal the role of any contestant they chose at a one-on-one dinner later. In the event no one was successful, the contestant that went last won the power by default.
- All Preexisting Relationships: Unlike other iterations of the show where the cast was either entirely or mostly strangers to each other, this season featured eight pairs of players that all had preexisting relationships, but were competing as individual contestants.

Guess the Relationship: The 8 pairs of contestants were split into 2 groups, each group with only 1 member of the pair. The group must correctly guess each member's relationship with their in-game partner, earning NKr2,000 for each correct guess. However, if any pair manages to successfully conceal the true nature of their relationship, they gain access to the Armoury. | NKr16,000 out of NKr16,000 | NKr16,000 | No one | None | Hkeem Banished 9-5 |

The Interrogation: Evelina & Hkeem were selected by the group as the most trustworthy contestants. They were then tasked to select and interrogate 3 other contestants they felt were most suspicious, and share their findings with the group. If the group correctly Banished a Traitor at the first Round Table, Nkr10,000 would be added to the prize fund. | NKr0 out of NKr10,000 | NKr16,000
3-4 | Margrethe Murdered |
Curling Match: The 15 contestants were divided into 3 teams of 5. Each team had 5 curling stones, and took turns to slide a stone towards the 'house' (target area) on the other side of the curling sheet. At the end of 15 turns, each stone that rested within the 'house' would add NKr2,000 to the prize fund. Additionally, the team whose stone was closest to the 'house's' centre after 15 turns would also win Armoury access. | NKr12,000 out of NKr30,000 | NKr28,000 | Aslak, Heidi, Jennie, Matias & Robin | Aslak Won Shield |

5-6 | Aslak Accepted Recruitment |
Game of Trust: There were 8 stations scattered around the cannon position in Vardefortet. The contestants could divide themselves however they liked to locate the stations. Each station held 2 cards, typically 1 depicting silver and the other the Armoury (but not always). The contestants would pick 1 card to burn, then bring back the other card to the rest of the group. At least 5 of the 8 retrieved cards must be silver cards in order for the group to win NKr40,000. The contestants that chose the Armoury cards would instead gain access to the Armoury: in the case of a pair choosing the Armoury card, they would decide which one of the pair gained access. | NKr0 out of NKr40,000 | NKr28,000 | Heidi, Katrine, Robin & Tarjei | Heidi Won Shield |
Matias Banished 9-4-1 |
Evelina & Serhat | Serhat Won Dagger
7-8 | Serhat Murdered |
Place Your Bets: While Evelina, Robin and Victor competed against each other for the Shield, the remaining contestants had to bet on who they thought the winner for each of the 3 rounds would be. For the first round, NKr2,000 would be bet for a potential payout of Nkr6,000. For the second round, up to NKr6,000 could be bet for a potential maximum payout of Nkr18,000. For the final round, up to NKr12,000 could be bet for a potential maximum payout of Nkr60,000. | NKr40,000 out of NKr64,000 | NKr68,000 | Evelina, Robin & Victor[a 1] | Victor Won Shield |
Torstein Banished 11-1 |
Aslak & Katrine | Katrine Won Dagger |
- ↑ Instead of the usual practice where Mission winners would enter the Armoury, the group instead nominated the three contestants they felt were most vulnerable to be Murdered. They would then compete against each other in a series of games for the Shield. In the first round, they had to match as many pairs of tiles as possible on a board, with each competitor being able to keep making matches until they made a wrong one, and the board rotated in between each competitor's turns. The winner immediately advanced to the final round. In the second round, the remaining competitors played a five-disk version of Tower of Hanoi against each other, with the faster competitor also advancing. In the final round, the finalists had to transport metal balls placed behind a grid using only their finger grip and coordination, dropping the balls into a scale until it was sufficiently weighed down to lift a cloche with the Shield underneath it. The faster competitor would win the Shield.

Trivia[]
For the first time in the international franchise:
- All the contestants entered the game with preexisting relationships.
- Two original Traitors were chosen at the start. Other seasons, even those with smaller casts, have all started with at least three.
- The Traitors were allowed to Recruit without first losing a member, presumably because of the smaller starting number.
- A power was given allowing a contestant to find out someone else's role.
- The season ended with a solo male winner (the past three solo winners - Alex Duggan, Cirie Fields and Vanessa Matagne - were female).
