Forræder Sæson 2 is the second season of Forræder (Denmark). It is broadcast on TV 2, starting from April 12, 2024 every Friday at 8:00pm.
Background[]
On November 16, 2023, it was reported that a second season of Forræder has just concluded filming, with host Lise Rønne posting an Instagram Story of her at the Hvedholm Castle again.[1] The full cast and launch date was confirmed on March 13, 2024.[2]

Unique Characteristics & Twists[]
- Pre-existing Relationship: Twin brothers Emil and Mikkel Trier were cast on the show together, competing as individual contestants.
- Banishment or Murder: At a Mission in Episode 3, Lise announced to the remaining contestants that there would be either a Banishment or Murder that night (but not both). For a Banishment to take place, the group had to unanimously agree on it; additionally, the prize pot would be increased by three silver bars if a Traitor was Banished that night, but reduced by ten silver bars if a Faithful left instead. If any contestant decided to choose Murder, there would be no Roundtable, and the Traitors would go to the Conclave and commit a Murder afterwards, with ten silver bars added to the pot.

If any of them choose Murder, there will be no Banishment and the Traitors will go into the conclave and Murder one of the Faithfuls, with 10 silver bars added to the prize pot. If all of them choose Banishment, they will proceeded to the Roundtable and Banish one of them. If they manage to Banish a Traitor, the group will earn 3 silver bars but if they Banished a Faithful, the group will lose 10 silver bars from their prize pot.

Trivia[]
- Emil and Mikkel Trier are the first contestants with a pre-existing relationship to win the game together; unlike many previous cases where either the Traitors or the group as a whole made sure to split up a pre-existing pair, they were both kept together in the game due to the constant suspicion dogging Emil (and the Traitors reasoning that keeping the twins together would add further suspicion to Emil), plus Mikkel's loyalty to Traitor Heino Hansen.
