Förrädarna is the Swedish edition of the global franchise The Traitors. It is the 15th edition of the show to launch globally, with its first episode airing on September 2, 2023.
History[]
A Swedish version of The Traitors was first announced at MIPTV on 17 April, 2023,[1] though the production company and TV network associated with it were then unknown. More details were subsequently announced on May 14, 2023: the show would be broadcast on TV4 from September 2, 2023 onwards, with Dragomir Mrsic helming the program. The prize fund would be SKr500,000,[2] with a mix of 18 celebrities and civilians taking part, and filming already underway at Häringe Castle.[3]
