Derrick Levasseur is a Faithful in The Traitors (US)/Season 3, previously known as the winner of the 16th season of Big Brother.
Considered as a legend for his dominance and victory on Big Brother 16, Derrick is one of three late entrants alongside Wes Bergmann and Rob Mariano, who he formed an alliance immediately with. Upon their entry, the entire castle became suspicious of a possible Traitor within the trio, but Derrick was quick to socially connect with everyone, including the other players from Big Brother, Danielle Reyes and Britney Haynes, who he personally knew outside the game. As he laid low, Derrick progressively became active and concocted a plan with his closest ally Wes to finally oust Rob for possibly being a Traitor because of Rob's intense articulation in eliminating Traitor Bob the Drag Queen on an earlier Round Table. While this hunch was correct, this plan eventually backfired when Rob was able to flip it at the Round Table, which resulted to Wes being eliminated by the majority instead. This also led to Derrick to be murdered at the same night by the Traitors led by Rob for being the latter's most vocal opponent and threat.
While Derrick Levasseur only has one season of Big Brother under his belt, it's his real-life detective skills the other players should be scared of. Yes, well before Derrick Levasseur became famous for his reality television and true crime reporting career, he was a police prodigy in the Central Falls, Rhode Island, police department. At age 20, he joined as one of the youngest officers in the department's history working in Patrol and Detective roles. Which means he'll be able to read the other players like books. Traitors and Faithful alike, beware![1]
