De Verraders: Videoland Editie is the first 'mini' Videoland season of De Verraders (Netherlands). It was uploaded every Sunday beginning from December 5, 2021 to January 2, 2022 exclusively on RTL's streaming service Videoland at 9:30pm, with two episodes uploaded on the first week, and the first episode also simultaneously aired on RTL 4.
Background[]
Following the success of Season 1, it was announced through a teaser on November 9, 2021[1] that a special edition of the show exclusive to Videoland would begin airing on December 5, 2021.[2] The show was already recorded earlier in the year at the country estate De Havixhorst. The full cast was revealed on November 25, 2021,[3] with an additional trailer on November 30, 2021.[4] On top of streaming, the premiere episode was also aired on RTL 4.
The season contained a nominal Christmas theme reflecting its broadcast period, featuring decor like wreaths and Christmas trees.

An aftershow, Videoland Viewing Party: De Verraders, saw host and former Traitor Holly Mae Brood interviewing the season's participants for more juicy details. A total of six episodes were produced, all of which were uploaded to Videoland, but with some episodes on Videoland's YouTube channel as well.

- With 12 contestants total, this season has the smallest cast in the entire international franchise so far.
- This season's Faithfuls are tied with Les Traîtres (Belgium)/Season 1, Os Traidores/Season 1, The Traitors (Australia)/Season 2, and Petolliset/Season 1 for being the least successful at Banishing Traitors, only voting out one.
- Britt and Iliass are the first Traitors to win as a group, as well as achieve a clear Traitor win (as Samantha Steenwijk's win was shared with Faithful Chatilla van Grinsven).
- They are also the first original Traitors (selected at the start) to win the game.
- This is the first season where all the Shields were exclusively won by Traitors.
- Thijs is the first Traitor to 'waste' a Murder on himself when holding the Shield.
