A dominant force right out the gate, a lot of the season's events centred around Charlotte and her plans, from starting a temporary alliance with other players on the same plane as her, to being part of the loudest voices driving the Banishments of Traitors Walter De Donder and Klaasje Meijer, escaping the initial heat she received and being Recruited as a Traitor after a push from Guy T'Sjoen, and subsequently taking out many strong Faithful players from the game. Her earlier credibility from Banishing Traitors, active and aggressive gameplay, willingness to take risks and core base of defenders (notably including Sarah Puttemans, with the pair being described as 'Siamese twins') meant that even as suspicions against her never fully went away, nobody could do anything about it until she started slipping up too much towards the endgame. Eventually, the pressure of playing a Traitor got to her and she ended up receiving votes from everyone - including her friend Sarah, and her fellow Traitors Guy and Bart Appeltans - to be Banished in 8th place.
"I am a poker player, and people think: she can bluff well. I've often heard: you would be a good traitor. I think I would be an even better ally because I sense people very well and can really read facial expressions. I'm very curious if I can use my poker table skills and if they actually work here too. In this game, you can't go alone, so I am someone who actively seeks partnerships. Forming a pact? Why not."[1]
