Already in the winter of 2022, Olset was asked to participate in "Forræder", but had to say "no" because of his job at NRK Sporten. Since then, the 41-year-old has got a new job in a communications agency - and herself sent a message to the production where she asked to be included in season three.
- I thought it looked like so much fun! And then I don't have to walk for miles with a backpack, train for strength or practice lots of things to get in here. We're just going to have fun and play a game. But my husband told me yesterday that: “You cannot be a traitor, because you cannot lie. Then you'll come home tomorrow," she says, laughing.[1]

Carina was playing a relativley good game at the start. She was trusted by many and made good bonds in the house. However this was to change when players like Oskar and Nils Jørgen pointed out her as a traitor. Despite her many attempts to defend herself and several people wanting to keep her, Carina ended up being targeted for her poor reasons for why she was not a traitor.
