Britney Elizabeth Godwin (née Haynes) is a Recruited Traitor and the Runner-up of The Traitors (US)/Season 3, previously known as a contestant on Big Brother and The Amazing Race.
Finding out that her Big Brother: Reindeer Games castmate Danielle Reyes was also playing in the season, with whom she had a hand in eliminating from their previous appearance, Britney was wary about a potential bad blood by Danielle but was able to mend fences with her early on and built a season-long alliance together. Choosing to lay low in Round Table discussions, she avoided being a target and her reformed relationship with Danielle afforded her the chance to stay. While Rob Mariano tried to paint a target on Britney in an attempt to save himself, she was able to effectively turn the tables on him, but this slowly sowed distrust and built suspicions on her as a possible Traitor. Given an ultimatum by Danielle to become a Traitor or be murdered, Britney chose to join her and intended to ride through the end with her ally by targeting Ivar Mountbatten at the Round Table in an attempt to keep Danielle safe, but this unfavorably resulted to a tie. However, a misread-on Britney's end on Dolores Catania's voting intention resulted to once again betraying her ally by switching her vote to Danielle and caused her elimination, which ultimately clued Dylan Efron about Britney's new role. At the next Round Table discussion, Britney valiantly fought to stay in game and targeted Dylan, but the rest could not overcome their suspicions on her as they sided with him, making her the final Traitor and contestant overall to be Banished
A reality competition show veteran, Haynes won America's Favorite Houseguest on U.S. Big Brother Season 12 and was a coach for Season 14. She also competed on The Amazing Race 31. Then she returned to compete in Big Brother: Reindeer Games, which also featured Danielle Reyes, so look out for a potential Big Brother alliance right from the start.[1]
