Azra Valani is a Faithful from The Traitors (US)/Season 1.

Azra's short stay in the game was marked by a strident attempt to avoid drama. The one time she did publicly engage with Kyle Cooke at the Round Table, the Traitors pounced upon it as an opportunity to eliminate her and try to make Kyle suspicious.

Azra Valani, who was born in Kenya, raised in Toronto, Canada, now resides in Los Angeles as a yoga instructor and dog mom. This introverted 5”2 vegetarian does magic tricks and taught herself how to code Python. Azra graduated with a degree in applied economics and a minor in women studies and was a ﬁnalist for Miss World Canada. Her lifelong dream is to teach yoga at homeless shelters because she believes everyone should have access to yoga without unreasonable costs.^[1]

Gameplay

Azra's strategy in the game was to lay low and say little. When a heated argument broke out amongst the contestants in Episode 3, Azra opted to leave the room instead of engaging in the situation, with her ally Anjelica Conti tagging along. She claimed that the negative energy was not conducive, and was afraid that if she spoke up she would become a target as well.

Later in the episode, when Kyle Cooke called out the Faithfuls for adhering to a herd mentality, Azra spoke up while casting her Banishment vote and argued that some players were having intelligent conversations among themselves and did not want to speak up against the louder personalities. That night, the Traitors saw Kyle's attempts at shepherding the Faithfuls as a potential threat to their game, and since Azra had publicly disagreed with Kyle, Murdering her could see the Faithfuls attribute that elimination to him and cause him to be Banished down the line (which indeed did happen the next episode).
