Angus McNicol is an Original Traitor from The Traitors (Australia)/Season 1.
Angus entered the game wanting to be selected as a Traitor, but quickly found himself in trouble when named as a Traitor by clairvoyant Chloe Campbell during her explosive exit. His inability to act convincingly like a Faithful and increasingly nervous demeanour led to him almost being Banished next, saved only by Kashindi Maree's target being bigger as well as the Traitors causing chaos before the vote. Despite this close call, Angus's target persisted and grew larger after a series of events at the first Shield Challenge. Eventually, the Faithfuls went in for the kill, making him the first Traitor to be banished from the game.

A classic case of not judging a book by its cover, Angus hopes his hippy laid back surfer vibe will be the perfect cover for this savvy salesman. He says: “I’m the perfect person to play The Traitors because not everything that you see is what you get. There are two people, there’s Angus, the quiet considered, well read, analytical orientated guy and then there is my alter ego, Gucci man who is a lot different. He’s extroverted, loves a crowd, high energy risk taker and both sides constantly jostle for my attention”.
Hailing from Mount Tamborine in Queensland, Angus is married with two kids and his family mean everything to him, but he is willing to play hard to win big saying: “Loyalty means nothing to me in this game”.
Angus has no fear about being chosen as a Traitor and believes it will be a better option for him as he loves a challenge and thinks it would be more fun than being a Faithful. He says: “I’m excited by an adventure and that’s what makes me a different competitor. I’m fascinated by people and want to know what makes you tick and if I have to play a little devious in this game to get what I need then all sweet”.[1]
