Why did you apply for this brand-new reality series? What interested you about this concept? I've always liked watching reality TV, but they're always geared towards the younger generation. When I was 20, or 25, there weren't that many reality TV shows out there. That was something that appealed to me, as well as the logic behind the game, the secrecy. I think I can read people very well, so I really fancied having a go.
What do you think you'll bring to the game? I've been an estate agent for many, many years. I think I can bring good personality and I think I'd be a good ambassador for 50-plus-year-old women to get out there and show that we can still be active and get into reality TV shows. I like to call myself a Glam Ma, rather than a Grandma. Plus, I've met thousands of people through my career and I'm pretty good at reading between the lines of people.
Do you have a game plan? I do have a game plan. I'm going to think of it as a sales venture so I'm not going to get over friendly with anybody and think of this as a work challenge. I've always brought my children up to do 100 percent. If you really try 100 percent in anything, whether it be physical or mental and you don't win, then you know you've done your best. You're not letting yourself down.
If you are a Traitor, have you got a good poker face? Are you good at deceiving people? I think I'm really good at deceiving people. My twins say one side of my lip goes up if I tell a little lie, so I've been concentrating on my poker face. It's a role I'm going into and I'm going to 100 percent do what needs to be done.
If you are a Traitor, how far are you prepared to go to win the game? I’m prepared to do anything. I've got to bring the trophy back to Wales. Especially because it's filmed in a castle, I've got to.
If you're a Faithful, what will your game plan be? I’m quite good at sussing people out and their personalities. Hopefully we'll be able to get the Traitors out as quick as we can.
Are you quite good at being able to tell if somebody's being dishonest with you? Yes. I can always see people's motives behind them, I get this gut feeling. I must be very good at reading people's personalities so if I'm a Faithful then hopefully we'll get them out.
If you're a Faithful, what qualities do you think you're going to need to make it through to the final? You're going to have to have loyalty to your team and to the others. A 100 percent commitment in all the missions and be able to read the Traitors really well.
If you win the prize money and bring it back to Wales, what are you going to spend it on? My twins have recently turned seventeen and they're starting to drive. They want a car each even though they've got the same friends and they'd be going in each other's cars to the same venue! So, I've said if I do win some money, I will get them each a car.[1]
Gameplay[]
Amanda was selected by Claudia as a Traitor on Day 1. She had a very strong personality and quickly ingrained herself within the Faithfuls. She, alongside Wilf and Alyssa, lasted six round tables without being banished. However, upon Tom’s banishment, and the tables starting to turn on Alyssa, Wilf through her under the bus and Amanda ultimately made the casting vote to vote her off instead of Wilf, also under fire.
After failing to seduce Alex, Wilf and Amanda continued together as a twosome. She delivered the kids of death to Amos at the party.
At this point, Amanda had never come under any suspicion for the entire game. However, after being instrumental in banishing Theo (who she previously said was 100% a faithful), Wilf started to believe he couldn’t trust her. Despite never receiving a single vote before then, Wilf raised three extra votes for her and she was banished.

Post-Game[]
Amanda's Welsh accent and sly gameplay made her a quick fan favourite, and she was invited to regularly appear at awards presentations and speeches. After the premiere of Series 2, Amanda was invited back for the companion discussion show The Traitors: Uncloaked.
